There is a couple that has been dating for 10 years. Finally the man becomes the CEO of a major corporation, a dream he’s been waiting for, will he continue to date the girl or will he let the power go to his head and dump her? Will he lose all his respect for power? Power can be measured as the ability to control people. Some will use it for good, others for evil. Power is not given it is earned, rather it’s by: your strength, demanding it out fear, your race, or by working hard for it. Power is invisible, yet obvious. In John Steinbeck’s novella, Of Mice and Men, power is a hierarchy that’s inevitable.
