You may not believe me but “What a Wonderful World”, a song written by Louis Armstrong has examples of transcendentalism in it. The way it shows transcendentalism is by expressing life through nature and also being optimistic. The song starts out with saying “I see trees of green, red roses too / I see them bloom for me and you” (lines 1 and 2).Armstrong is saying that he sees the beautiful green trees and the roses that bloom, this is one example of expressing life through nature. Later on in the song Armstrong sings “The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky / are also on the faces of people going by”(lines 7 and 8), he is using both, seeing life through nature and optimism when he says this. It is very easy to spot nature being used
