We are becoming slaves of our own creation. Nowadays the internet has become something indispensable. It has changed the way we communicate and interact by transforming our social lives, changing the way we learn, and created cyber bullying as an additional negative intention. People don't socialize anymore as before. We don't think nor read critically anymore which is making us more stupid. The internet was created to help us positively but we turned the it into a negative source. “I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The internet is so important to us, that we can't live one day without it. We don't socialize anymore as before. Statistically from 100 people in a party almost 60 people are using their phones or taking pictures but never interacting with each other. Everything has changed. We rely so much on the internet that, when we need information we don't critically think or search further. Instead, we look for some information; we read it and that's it. But we don't analyze the information. Surfing the internet has made everything easy for us. Thus, when we want to read something we prefer to search on the internet, than read a hard copy, since we know the internet would make it shorter for us. From a whole article we only read the surface, we don’t really take the time to investigate or search the words we don’t understand and their meanings. We only read what we think it's important and we don't think about it thoughtfully. Back in the days our libraries used to be full and people used to be smarter.
