As a production supervisor, Ali decides on Friday afternoon how many units of output his employees will be able to produce and on which days certain products will be run in his department. He also decides which of his employees are going to be responsible for operating which machines within the department next week, as his employees are multi-skilled assemblers. On Monday, he informs his employees of their assignments to specific machines by handing out assignment sheets. He tells the employees that the schedule is going to be difficult this week due to the increased number of units. ANS: Asim performing a public relationship function. All well reputed organization care about the people who in surroundings or are affecting directly or in directly by the plants. This is a social duty of organizations to get information about how plant’s affecting the public. this is also a part of agreements with government or public concerned departments to check the plants effects on public that is living near the plants or affecting directly or indirectly by the plants.
For example Plants smoke is a serious public health issue. Good companies invest a lot of budget to decrease smoke or to make smoke less dangerous by eliminating dangerous chemicals from it.
Many plants also cause water pollution that is also another serious public health issue.
So by meeting with the concerned officials from government departments and public representatives Company officials like Asim try to satisfy them by showing them arrangements that company makes to decrease the effect of plants on
