Explain Why Is It Important To Be Involved In The Voting Process

Living in the U.S today with a political election coming up I believe it is important to be involved in the voting process. As young adults, we as juniors and seniors almost of age to vote really should in my opinion should be paying attention to the election more than they ever have. The reason for that is due to the fact that the U.S has one of the lowest voter turnout of any country in the world while the U.S in 2012 56% of voters turned out while some countries will get up to 95% voter turnout. The fact is people have been paying less and less attention to the voting process.
