One thing is, since they lowered the voting age, we must take this for granted. What I mean is that if you have the privilege to vote, then do so. It is your responsibility as an American citizen to choose who you want, and trust to control our country. Voting isn't something you just say, “Oh, whoops, forgot to vote today… Eh, I’ll just do it next time.”
You could do that, but if you did,
it’s a disappointment to our nation. You live in this country, and have so many freedoms that many other places don’t have, so you’re going to waste every single freedom you have, and not help choose the next ruler?
See, if only 25% of this country voted, then would it really be a vote? What do the other 75% believe? Maybe the candidate that won was actually never suppose to, and if the rest of the country voted, maybe a different candidate would've won. So since they lowered the voting age, when it’s your turn to vote, take that turn, and make an extremely careful decision.
