Tom Robinson Is the better mockingbird symbol, than Boo radley. Tom is better than boo because Tom was an innocent man that was hurt because of his color. Tom was also a better symbol because he tried to voice his view and he was gonna be killed for trying to defend himself.

Tom was a innocent man who was wrongfully accused of rape. Tom Was trying to “sing” by trying to defend himself. He was killed for no reason other than his color. The blacks represent the mockingbirds. The blacks are killed for no reason other than there color. But when they try fly they gut hurt. There fr tome represents the mockingbird.

Boo isn't the better decision because he was not listened to and not enjoyed. he was there to save. He was also not a better respiration

In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird the character “Boo” Radley is portrayed as an evil and creepy specter of a person who prowls the neighborhood at dusk as if to remain invisible to the outside world around him who would otherwise judge and reticule him. He is thought to be all of these horrible accusations as well as others such as dangerous and prone to violence when in reality he is a mockingbird, a symbol of good and innocence . It is not until the end of the novel that Boo’s true character is reviled when he saves the Finch children from a truly evil man who wishes to harm or even kill them. Boo’s arrival seems to serve as a sense of justice in a time much deserving of it.…

Boo Radley symbolises a beautiful, but tortured mockingbird that is misunderstood and ostracised by both his family and the wider community. He is kept as a prisoner in his own home, kept in confinement by his god-fearing Baptist family. Despite this treatment Boo remains gentle and harmless. However, people tell stories about how he eats squirrels and cats and poisons the pecan nuts in the school yard. To the community Boo is a "malevolent phantom". Gradually Scout and Jem begin to see things from Boo's perspective. Like the mockingbird Boo gives pleasure and comfort: for example, the gifts in the tree, the blanket placed around their shoulders as they watch Miss Maudie's home go up in flames. Finally, he saves Scout and Jem's lives. In turn, Scout realises to drag Boo into the limelight would be like "shootin' a mockingbird" and a cruel betrayal of all the inherent goodness Boo symbolises as a mockingbird.…

    Boo Radley Hero

Many assert that Atticus Finch is the hero in the novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” by, “Harper Lee,” but I respectfully disagree with that and believe the true hero is Boo Radley. Throughout the book, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” Boo Radley was secretive and reticent, although, he had multiple encounters of being heroic. Boo Radley additionally, is somebody portrayed as a mad man. Scout, Jem, and Dill was told that Boo (allegedly), defiantly stuck scissors into the leg of his repressive father. When the children heard about that, they reluctantly tried to find out more information about Boo. By the end of the novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” Boo is distinguished more as a hero to the children, rather than a shadow of a dreadful person. I conceive…

Since they were very little, Jem and Scout have always heard stories Boo Radley killing people, attempting to kill his father, and peeping in people's windows at night. Jem, Scout, and Dill assumed that all of these stories were correct and they try almost every summer to lure him out of his house. Then near the end of the novel, Boo comes out of his house to save Jem and Scouts lives. While spending those short few minutes with Boo, Scout realizes that Boo was never the man that the town made him out to be, he was simply shy and he did not like to come out of his house. Everyone judged him before they even knew him.…

The Mockingbird symbolizes innocence, hope and peace. Harper Lee: To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the greatest books I have read. While reading the book I have chose some people to be mockingbirds. I chose Atticus and Tom Robinson to be mockingbirds. I chose these two particular people because they both play a wonderful part in the book and haven't done anything horrible. They just try to help others out and never lied once.…

The symbolism of the mockingbird relates to Boo Radley because he is of an innocent nature. Such as, the mockingbird which does not feast on things that it shouldn't neither does it nest where it does not belong. Instead, all it does is create marvelous music for people to enjoy. Similarly, as the mockingbird is of an innocent nature so is Boo Radley because he never wished harm to befall anyone. In fact, his only act of violence was accidental. Yet people found it in their hearts to accuse him of something he wasn’t guilty of.…

There was a long jagged scare that ran across his face; what teeth he had were yellow and rotten; his eyes popped, and drooled most of the time (16). During the beginning of the novel, Boo Radley was seen as a monster because of the stories that Jem and Scout have heard. Automatically, Jem and Scout see Boo Radley as a bad person who is out to get them. Just because we think someone is weird, we automatically assume that he is a bad person. He was prejudged because of all the misconceptions that they have heard about Boo Radley, when in reality all he did was try to be friendly. Boo Radley is also seen as a mockingbird figure because he stays in the house like a bird in the cage and isn’t allowed to give Jem and Scout gifts, even the simplest pleasures like going outside. Boo Radley has done nothing wrong but protects Jem and Scout Finch. During the end of To Kill a Mockingbird, Bob Ewell, the father of Mayella Ewell decides to attack Jem and Scout Finch. When that happens, Boo Radley is right by their side protecting Jem and Scout from Bob Ewell. Without Boo Radley Jem and Scout finch would be dead. Boo Radley has been by Scout and Jem’s side ever since the beginning of the novel. As the novel progresses Scout and Jem become more curious about Boo Radley. When Boo Radley leaves gifts in the knothole and protects them from Bob Ewell they start to realize that he never was a monster and that he never meant to be antagonizing to them. By the end of the novel they come to realize that Boo Radley is a real person too and by rescuing Scout and Jem he proves to them that Boo is a harmless person who is also brave and courageous. Both characters, Tom and Boo show symbols of kindness and innocence because they did nothing to harm anybody and were still…

He is because Tom Robinson shares many qualities of a mocking bird. Tom is a good man who is helpful and peaceful. One day Tom helped a girl who asked for help. Then he got falsely convicted of rape. He would not have been convicted of this crime if he was not black, and because Tom was black, even his lawyer Atticus Finch knew that he would lose the case. “People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for” (Lee, 1960, p.232). This quote is an example of how the judge and public viewed blacks. They only focused and made up things about blacks that were not positive. They did not listen to how the color of someone’s skin does not make someone’s decisions. Therefore, Tom had no chance of winning. If people did not assume that Tom was a rapist just because he was black, he would have won the trial. This shows how Tom was innocent, just like the mockingbird. The other character who also symbolises the mockingbird is Boo…

The symbol of The Mockingbird represents various characters throughout the novel and helps develop the theme of moral injustice. Tom robinson is an example of a “Mockingbird” because he never did anything wrong, however he was shot and wrongfully accused. The explanation of “a mockingbird” can be found in the book when Miss.Maudie says “ Mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy (...) they don’t do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That’s why it is a sin to kill a mockingbird”(Lee, 119). This explains why it is wrong for one to kill a mockingbird; since they do not cause anyone misfortune, it would be morally unjust to cause them misfortune. Tom Robinson is symbolized as a mockingbird…
