There is a prevailing culture in the organization which is CSR-friendly. In fact, there are teams put up to take care of such matters. Even the leadership spouses this same desire for community building and philanthropy. The Philippine office, being a subsidiary, should also be supportive and reflective of this wonderful culture of its parent company. This is perhaps one of the most compelling reasons for the need to engage in such a practice. And it must also come naturally – after all its hierarchy of leadership goes all the way to the main office.
