After closely reviewing Erikson’s eight stages of life I find that currently I am facing his seventh stage. This stage is known as Generatively VS. Stagnation it happens when you are a mature adult. This stage I see myself as because I am needed in the life that I am living. I live my life striving for the pursuit to take care of my family, and live a well-balanced life. Being the family man and devoted parent that I am Erikson’s theory states that many adults obtain their needs to be needed, and by doing so they also direct the next generation in a direction. By being a generative adult I am committed to fulfill a greater need than just my own I am committed to leading my next generation to success with my positive guidance. The children I am raising are what make me a generative adult with a purpose to live. How can I fashion a gift is the main focused question of this stage. It took me some time to fully understand what that meant, but I believe it to mean what I can do in my life for my next generation to remember me for. This means am I going to be remembered as the lazy person who care about nothing, or am I going to be remembered for the amazing person I was that accomplished everything he set his mind to. I have answered this question a number of times by actively being involved in my daughter’s life and my family’s life, and showing them I can accomplish everything for us to have a great life. This means my role as a great father I am actively engaged in my daughter’s life I play with her, read to her, do puzzles with her, practice words with her and try to be a positive influence to her. My daughter is only two, and by being as positive I can be I am hoping that she grows up to be very talented and smart. The other side of it is I am a very hard worker, and provided everything that my family needs, so in by doing this it shows her what hard work can got you. Being an active father in my daughter’s life and future children’s life I am hoping will bless…
Branded Nation was written by James B. Twitchell a professor of marketing and English at University of Florida. In his book he wrote about institutions that are looked up upon by the public as ones that are outside the area of organizations that sell merchandises and services. These institutions are not traditionally connected with marketing, or even branding, but, as you start to read through the book you soon realize they are. The three institutions in his book are, the church, the university, and the museum. . These organizations are not perceived to be associate with the world of advertising and fierce marketing. Twitchell argues that the need for salvation, which he calls a human 'epiphany', becomes the emotional product of religion. Twitchell says that all culture "comes to us through a commercial process of story-telling called branding."(Twitchell 2).…
At the age of 3, when I was in the nursery, my mother had to leave me and my sister with our father alone to seek for an opportunity in Hong Kong. Our mother worked as a nanny in Hong Kong, having not much benefit for her such as only having one day off and most of the time, none at all and not even able to take a chance to go home and visit us. It was tough for me and my sister living without our mothers’ guidance, especially for my father who happens to have an affair with many women. When our mother found out that my father is having an affair with different women, she didn’t hesitate to take us away from him. Long story short, our mother filed a divorce against our father. Aunt Aileen, my mothers’ oldest sister had to take care of us after the divorce.…

I grew up in a joint family in India, which had 3 married couple and their kids. Marital relationships that I saw in my family were not great but not bad either. All the men used to work in the family business and the women used to take care of the children and the house. Many times my parents used to fight and my dad used to scream at my mom, but my mom never had the guts to say anything to him. I always saw that my mom was scared of him and I used to question myself why doesn’t she reply back. And being a girl myself I used to think that probably girls cant say anything when theirs husband are screaming at them. I used to talk to my mom and tell her why cant she reply back, but I never really got an answer. I always saw my mom as the weaker one in the relationship. On the other hand we had a family friend and both husband wife used to work as college professors. In their house the husband never screamed at the wife, I am sure they had conflicts but you could totally see the respect that he gave to his wife. When I grew a little bit older my mom started telling me how she felt. That was when she told me that she was a housewife and my dad was the one who earned in the family and thus he could talk like that to my mom. My dad always dominated her as he is the man of the family and is the one responsible for all the decisions of the family. And this was not only my parents I 4saw this trend throughout my family with the other two couples as well.…

In the mornings my uncle walks me and my sister to school as he walks to the shop. But we have to walk home from school alone and I am in charge of keeping my sister safe. My mother spends all day preparing food with what little ingredients we have. Yesterday, a delivery truck for the shop didn’t show up, so my father asked me to take the day off school and look after…
Children back to home, but they are alone, house is empty, there is no mother waiting for them to arrive, and a few minutes later maid arrives and get busy with cocking something for children. mother comes back from work, takes off his clothes, his daughter jumps to her hug but mother just gives her a cold kiss and says him: mother is too tired and has a lot of works honey, please go and play with your dolls .in that moment father is busy with his late jobs and tries to make his son understand that he cannot play cricket with him. Maid prepared the dinner and mother and children are around dinner desk eating their dinner while father has slept on his desk. At the weekend family are together, but there is no grandpa, grandma, aunts, and uncles. They just see each other once a year in grandpa’s house on Nav Rooz night. Because children don’t see their relatives any other time they act to them like a stranger and have no respect for them they don't know how to esteem or sympathies older people. They even do not see their parents a lot and spend time with them to know about values of a family .as parents don’t have time to spend with children, they get more to the virtual worlds like games, internet, and televisions and receive values which these sources give them and get far from real world and get more introvert. In other hand today children become independent earlier and tend to find their own sources of income, they will…

The most memorable day of my life was, September 4, 1995 in Chicago, IL. It was 6:00 a.m. when my alarm clock woke me up. The first day of high school was finally here. I was excited, but a lot more nervous. I got out of bed, got ready, and then was on my way to the bus stop. All I could think of is the stories I heard about high school being so horrible with all the mean teachers, the hard tests, and of course being a freshman does not help either. The bus ride to the school was only 30 minutes, but it seemed a lot longer. When we finally got there, I was more nervous than ever. The day ahead of me was about to get a lot more complicated or the start of something great.…
I and my family felt so blessed to have a mother like her. She is so very protective, supportive and very caring unlike to my father. Even though she is always stressed doing the household chores she has always time to help us in our assignments, projects and all the things that we need her help. That s why I and my siblings really love her she’s our living hero. For me having my mother is the luckiest thing that I had. Even though there is many times that we are having an argument. But it’s not that really serious, because my mom is very understanding. She can understand my own feelings and she’s not very strict unlike to my father. She loves cooking foods on her own, and making her own recipes. She loves spending her time cleaning the house as always, reading books and teaching my little sister her lessons. If my mom was a food I can tell that she’s the most special one. She’s one of a kind and for me she’s the most unique and delicious food that I’ve ever tasted. And if my mom was a student, she…
The best childhood place I would have to say is Phillip Island for me and still is my favourite place. There is this church that takes people out to fun camps each year for five days which my parents, best friend Dion and I have gone for as long as I could remember. The place we stayed at was a two story old, haunted looking building, it had long hallway that echoed every time you made any noise, a massive dinning room that could fit at least one hundred and fifty people in it and it sometimes did. There is a lounge room upstairs that had a piano that was always being smashed by kids and it has the most comfortable couches I have ever sat on in my life, once you sit on it, it sucks you in like quicksand and to get up you'd need some help. Every morning all the, what we call church leaders and some others would gather to the lounge room and sing songs and do stuff they'd do in church. Outside there is a theatre room that was used on the last night of the camp, for plays people thought up during their time at camp. There was a pond that had big fat goldfishes, I remember falling into that dirty pond water back when I was a clumsy child. There was playground that had slides, swings and a boat, being young kids my friends and I used our imagination to the limit and thought we'd be able to fix up that boat and sail it back to Melbourne all by ourselves. Everyday the leaders would make call outs to beaches, the best beach I remember going to was called Woolamai, and every time we would go to the beach, everyone wanted to go there because it was the perfect beach, no sharp shells or rocks, no slimy seaweed and big waves.…

Ten years ago, the Internet was practically unheard of by most people. Today, the Internet is one of the most powerful tools throughout the world. The Internet is a collection of various services and resources. The Internet’s main components are E-mail and the World Wide Web. Actually, there’s a lot more to the Internet than E-mail, search engines, celebrity web sites, up-to-the-second sports scores, and chat rooms full of discussions. The Net also ranks as one of today’s best business tools. Almost all households contain the Internet; however, before people connect to the Internet, they need to be aware of its disadvantages and advantages. Many people fear the Internet because of its disadvantages. They claim to not use the Internet because they are afraid of the possible consequences or are simply not interested. People who have yet connected to the Internet claim they are not missing anything. Today’s technological society must realize that it is up to them to protect themselves on the Internet.…
1. One of my favorite Holidays is 4th of July. A few years ago my dad and I went to Washington to pick out some illegal fireworks. So we went to the Black Cat firework store . I got some mortars and roman candles and all the fun fireworks you could think of. So the day before 4th of July we were lighting off a few roman candles and all of a sudden a under cover police car pulled into our driveway and the police officer inside the car said “are you lighting off illegal fireworks?” because he saw me with the roman candles, and my dad said “yes” so the police officer confiscated all the fireworks we had bought and were fined a thousand dollars. We did get our ticket reduced down to $250 because we attended a fire works class. This definitely opened my eyes to the danger of fire works. From that day forward, I’ve learned not to do anything your not supposed to do, like buy illegal fireworks.…
