In your solution, a woman should not have a negative view of their place in society but instead should recognize and accept that men and women are different, and that those very differences are the key to a fulfilling life. This is an absurd claim in my opinion because what it is saying is that women should ignore any injustices against them by society and just accept the role prescribed to them. Instead, you propose that a woman should realize that their ability to create babies is a part of the Divine Architect’s design and therefore should “rejoice that she has a capability for creativity that men can never have.” (Schlafly 513) This argument is not giving much credit to God, in my opinion; it is basically saying that since God gave women the ability to create babies, then that must be their only purpose. I like to think that God is a bit more powerful and nuanced than that.
