What is Feng Shui? simply means “wind” (Feng) and “water” (Shui) and together the words represent harmony and balance
In Chinese culture, gentle wind and smooth water have always been associated with a good harvest and good health, while harsh winds and stagnant water have been linked to famine and disease.
Therefore, "good" feng-shui has come to mean good livelihood and fortune, and "bad" feng-shui has come to mean hardship and bad luck.

3 COMPONENTS OF FENG SHUI
1. Feng Shui Compass – the “Lo-Pan”
“Lo” means “Everything” and “Pan” means “a Bowl”
Consists of 8 directions: North, South, East, West, NorthEast, NorthWest, SouthEast and SouthWest
A professional feng shui compass can have over 40 rings of information.
It is a tool to access the mysteries of the universe the square base of compass is traditionally RED COLOR – as red symbolizes auspiciousness in chinese culture.
Red is also a strong protective color that helps keep the energies clear around the feng shui compass
2. Feng Shui Bagua or Pakua
It is said to be the Feng Shui map
“Bagua” means “eight trigrams” which refers to 8 fundamental aspects of human life including family, prosperity, career and relationship
3. The Theory of Change
This includes the 5 elements:
FIRE – produce Earth, destroy Metal, suppress Water
EARTH – produce Metal, destroy Water, suppress Wood
METAL – produce Water, destroy Wood, suppress Fire
WATER – produce Wood, destroy Fire, suppress Earth
WOOD – produce Fire, destroy Earth, suppress Metal
2 Main Cycle of Interaction of each Element:
1. Productive Cycle
This looks like this: Fire produces earth (ash), earth creates metal, metal liquefies, water nurtures plants, and burning wood creates fire.
