I. Introduction
1. Topic: Dividend decision

A dividend is something of value that is distributed to a firm’s stockholders on a pro-rata basis—that is, in proportion to the percentage of the firm’s shares that they own. The Dividend Decision is a decision made by the directors of a company. This decision is an important one for the firm as it may influence its capital structure and stock price. Beside, dividend is a part of your investment return. A Company that manages their cash flow effectively tend to sustain and grow their dividend payouts over time. Successful growth of earnings usually pays off for investors in the form of higher share prices. Because of those reasons, I find this topic very interesting so I decide to choose financing for the individual assignment.
2. Company: P&G

The Procter & Gamble Company also known as P&G, is an American multinational consumer goods company headquartered in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. P&G was published in 1837 by two brother-in-laws William Procter (candle maker) and James Gamble (soap maker).
In 2012, P&G recorded $83.68 billion dollars in sales. Fortune magazine awarded P&G a top spot on its list of "Global Top Companies for Leaders", and ranked the company at fifth place of the "World 's Most Admired Companies" list. Chief Executive Magazine named P&G the best overall company for leadership
