When I first came to Silver Lake College I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew about the school was that it was a private catholic liberal arts college. At that time I never gave any though to what “liberal arts college” meant. Now that I’ve been at Silver Lake for two years and had liberal art classes, I have a better understanding of what a liberal arts education is and how it can make a difference in a person’s life. This synthesis paper will allow me to express my experience thus far with the liberal arts and summarize goals that I’ve set and achieved during my undergraduate program. I will also be able to summarize my service…

My final paper will focus in the Peruvian generic medicine market. The Peruvian market is dominated by the leading laboratories who set the prices and control the brands. Peruvian customers are used to follow doctors prescriptions strictly and believe that the use of generics is dangerous. This situation allows the laboratories to capture the market and set the prices (Peruvian medicines are more expensive than in the USA). The Peruvian health agency; "Ministerio de salud" signed a cooperation agreement with national association of pharmacies for them to distribute 83 of the most used generic medicines along with the brand medicines. They never kept up the agreement, and the pharmacies refuse to sell generic medicines.…
Once entering prison, inmates will lose most of their right as a free citizen. All prisoners must keep certain rights simply because they are human beings. The First amendment guaranties inmates the right to freedom of speech, press, and also the right to receive mail. Prison, especially for long sentences, is not easy to tolerate. It means years of separation from family and loved ones. One of the most important ways to communicate with the inmate is through letters. Letters to inmates are like emotional vitamins for them, and regular correspondence can help an inmate to pass the time and to feel a sense of belonging to those outside of prison. Mail rules in jails or prison can vary from state to state and from prison to prison. Through the prison system has rules, but, there are important rights that they must uphold. This prison new mail policy provided in this document triggered many issues among the inmate’s population and their family, and to avoid further legal issue, the prison should come up with better solution to solve those issues. This paper will look over how the new mail policy violate the inmates rights, both generally and more specifically, provide solution to resolve the staffs shortage without changing the mail policy, and also provide method that the prison can use to stop the contrabands coming through the inmate’s mail.…

The problem of unreturned books in the company’s library calls for a solution that is quick, efficient and sustainable. The IT team seeks to create a system that will ensure accountability and continuity solving the problem experienced. Currently there exists a manual system of distributing the available reading material, and no system is in place to remind the users on the deadline for their stay with the journals. This brings about the need for a system with clearly outlined requirements, which will guide the creators during its creation. This will ensure that the digital system fulfills all the needs that may be lacking in the current system.…
