Financial statement analysis of AB BAnk
1.1 Background of the study:

The world is tremendously competitive now. In every sphere of life, business competition becomes more and more critical. So it is difficult to make business in these competitive markets. But accounting procedure is the most important part for any financial institution like bank. Banks are also the principal source of credit (loanable fund) for millions of individual & families & for many units of governments. Another contribution of bank make their willingness to accept risky loan from borrower, while issuing low risk securities to their depositors. Bank also satisfies the strong need of much customer liquidity.

So bank is a powerful force for the economy of the nation, stimulating economic activities & creating new jobs.

1.2 Objectives of the study:

A result actually depends upon the proper selection of objectives. Before starting any kind of work, it essential to setup the objectives and make a path for achieving a good result. I have some objective about my report. Some portion of this reports totally depends on specific data and some of them are assumption. That’s why I’m dividing my objective in the following types.

1.2.1 Broad Objectives:

The major objectives of the study is to fulfill the requirement of my internship. Here at the same time, I tried to find out the financial analysis of AB Bank Ltd.

Again the objectives of the report writing is to know & evaluate the financial statement of analysis of a commercial bank, more over he study is conducted for the following objective-

1. To know the leading policy of commercial bank.
2. To identify the lending risk of bank.
3. To know the bank performance & efficiency in the field of loan and advance management.
4. Suggest several guidelines to overcome these problems.

1.3 Methodology of the study :

Preparing a report is a complex and structural task. It involves a series of steps that are interrelated. Here I am describing the steps.
