Assignment 1
The Preface
1
A really nice introduction of the journey, where the key elements of the story are presented, master and apprentice. Although, The section was brief it manage to summarize the tone and taste of the book, as well as proposing interesting ideas such as the need to learn how to be happy in life, something take for granted in believing we already know it. Also the Preface mentions the interesting concept of living like a peaceful warrior which simultaneously leaves you wondering what type of life is that and whether you want it or no.
2 I agree with the idea that you have to learn how to live because a life of quality enjoyment and wisdom is not anyone birthright.
3 The impression I got after reading this section was that if read carefully, the reader will experience his own journey of self discovery.
