The book, Fahrenheit 451, doesn’t explain how the revolution of banning books was pursued and how the society responded to this change. I don’t think that this big of a revolution would be possible for many reasons. People would not allow the government to control them to the point where numerous rights were taken away from them. For example, if the right to own a gun were taken away from us American citizens, there would be huge riots, which in turn would inevitably overthrow the government. Bradbury does not show faith that the masses of society are strong enough to stand up for their rights but instead believe that the government has the ability to take full control of us American citizens. As ignorant as society can be, I don’t believe…
In his writing, Richard Rodriguez describes himself as a “scholarship boy”, a label he read about in Hoggart’s book, The Uses of Literacy. His description of himself and Hoggart’s description of a scholarship boy do seem to align with each other in various ways, which Rodriguez points out in his essay. He gives block quotes from Hoggart’s book and then relates those quotes to his own life to show the reader just how much the two descriptions align with each other. Rodriguez uses Hoggart’s book to describe his life, it wasn’t until he came across that book that he knew what category of student he fell under.…

We first see the evidence of Macbeth as tragic hero when the beginning praise by Duncan about his military skills proves it. Also, the witches, when they speak to Macbeth and Macduff they only merely predict what will happen, never in anyway do they ever actually influenced Macbeth to do anything. Macbeth is aware of what he is doing and he is in full control of his actions. Once he gets what he wants, the crown, he is far from happy. He is unable to trust anyone and no one trusts him. This is then able to portray the tragic hero that Shakespeare created from…
Macbeth is a determined man and has great qualities as a human being at the beginning. However, Macbeth is weak minded, and his will can be easily swayed which contributes to his undoing. Lady Macbeth is just one of the many characters who astray Macbeth’s heart. Due to his lack of sensibility and rectitude, he is unraveled to his very end. Macbeth is to take full responsibility for the tragedies that take place among the innocent lives, which were dealt the wrong hand of fate, during his conquest for complete power.…
The story of Macbeth, an inherently good man who is slowly poisoned by the evil acts he commits to further his ambition, is a classic Shakespearean tragedy. Macbeth is first seen as a loyal, brave man, but as the play progresses, he begins to be overtaken by his darker side, partly due to the encouragement of his wife, Lady Macbeth. As Macbeth rises to power and gains the title of King of Scotland, both he and his wife become increasingly unhappy and feel extreme guilt for the murders they have taken part in. The play culminates with both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth dying, showing that evil actions have their consequences. However, though both Lady Macbeth and Macbeth were responsible for evil in the play, the witches (who told Macbeth that he would be king one day) were the ones who initially planted the seed of ambition and violence inside Macbeth. The witches are most responsible for the evil in Macbeth due to the fact that Macbeth would not have committed the murders if the prophecy had not been told.…

Macbeth may be a tragic-hero, as he has no moral responsibility for his crimes. Macbeth is controlled by the spell of the witches and the pressure from his wife. Macbeth may be possessed by the evil spirit of the witches. The witches inspire the roots of evil nature inside Macbeth to make him murder King Duncan.
