The security glass which was collected from the betting shop can be compared to the potential suspect’s shoes and the vacuum sweepings found in the abandoned car which would connect a potential suspect to the crime. Another comparison that can be made from the evidential material recovered at the crime scene is the victim’s blood that was collected as this can be compared against the shoes of the potential customers and possibly the overalls that they were wearing. Although the knife was not used during the crime the fingerprints collected can be compared against the potential suspect’s fingerprints, those found on the weapons as well as the fingerprints found within the abandoned van and could even possibly connect the knife to previous crimes which could have potentially occurred.
