them out. Using scissors is really tricky and complex, but you have mastered the art of cutting so this didn’t phase you. You did a really good job of cutting out all of your rhyme. Your cutting was neat and close to the lines of the shapes. When you go to school I am sure your ability will impress your teachers. Once you had all your rhyme pieces cut out, it was time to put them into the laminating sheet and place them in the laminator.
You were really excited about using the laminator, you love laminating and couldn’t wait to have your turn. “Grace, taihoa, we need to wait for the laminator to heat up first,” I reminded you. One the laminator had reached the right temperature you placed your rhyme pieces into the laminating sheet and then placed the laminating sheet into the special laminating sleeve. You then placed it into the laminator and supported it as it was pulled through the laminator. You became really excited when you saw your sheet pop out of the back of the
laminator. Finally, I removed the warm laminating pocket from the laminator, and showed you, your glossy, shiny, laminated rhyme pieces. You took it back to the art tēpu (table) so you could re- cut them out. Once you had all your rhyme pieces cut out you placed them in a special envelope with your name on them to take home.
