Author: The author of “Flotsam” is David Wiesner. I have not read any of David Wiesner’s other books.
Genre: “Flotsam” is a children’s fiction book. An audience of young children who like to learn about the ocean would be interested in this book. I typically do not read these genre of books because I am older, but I can understand why the book would interest children.

The special camera is capturing the moments that the children experienced, and being thrown back into the ocean for someone else to find it.
Quotes: The best part of the book is when the boy looks through the pictures on camera. Being able to visualize the beautiful photos is amazing. The pictures of the different animals and their underwater world is great to see.
