There was a research done, they put people with cancer on vegan diet and draw their blood and they found out that the blood of those on a plant based diet was dramatically less hospitable to cancer and their blood fight about 8 times better. So there is a significant connection between vegan diet and cancer prevention.

The only solution for this huge, global problem is educating the youngest generation about the power of food and the importance of this problem. Also the government should provide some classes in schools, where children would receive more information about nutrition.
