1. Introduction Food labels give information to consumers about nutrition inside the package. This information helps consumers to compare the nutritional contents of similar products in order to select foods which appropriate to their need.
2. Aims The purpose of this research was to determine the nutritional contents of various types of food items.

1. The sample There were 10 products of foods as samples. These foods items were selected from a variety of different food types.
2. Data collection Data was selected by a survey at local supermarket in Adelaide city.

Barbecue shapes contained protein 10gr, total fat 24.8gr, saturated fat 11.6gr, carbohydrates 58gr, sugars 12gr, sodium 0.732gr and it had no fibre.
b. Muesli Bars contained protein 4.6gr, total fat 0.9gr, saturated fat 0.2gr, carbohydrates 59.1gr, sugars 30.3gr, sodium 0.225gr and fibre 12.8gr.
c. Chocolate contained protein 9.9gr, total fat 29.7gr, saturated fat 17.9gr, carbohydrates 5.4gr, sugars 47.5gr, sodium 0.65gr and it had no fibre.
From the food label above, the comparison results were: Barbecue shapes had the highest protein, which was 10gr. Muesli bars had the highest carbohydrates, which was 59.1gr and barbecue shapes had the second highest carbohydrate, which was 58gr. Chocolate had the highest sugars, which was 47.5gr, the highest total fat, which was 29.7gr, and the highest saturated fat, which was 17.9gr. Surprisingly, chocolate compared to muesli bars, muesli bars contained lots of sugars, which was 30.3gr, even though it had the lowest total fat, which was 0.9gr, and the lowest saturated fat, which was 0.2gr. Muesli bars had high fibre, which was 12.8gr. On the other hand, barbecue shapes and chocolate had no fibre. All of those 3 products had sodium less than 1gr.
