Frank Trippett Break Rules

More kids every year start to believe that it is cool to break laws and rules. In Frank Trippett’s passage “A Red Light for Scofflaws” he explains how america is gaining more law breakers every year. He explains how most americans do not think of themselves as lawbreakers or criminals and do not see a problem with breaking minor laws. Trippett uses a formal tone to let unaware law followers know that even they could be breaking laws. Most people break rules but do not believe any consequences will be taken so they continue to break laws. Many people every day break laws but nothing happens to them because they are never caught. People always litter on freeways but most people are never caught so they keep doing it. By littering it damages the environment and the animals that live in that environment around the highway or park. Many people believe that littering does not cause anything and that there will always be someone to pick it up so it does not cause anything to happen. A few examples of places that are littered are: highways, schools, and parks.
Cigars are one of the main problems many smokers do not have ashtrays in their cars so they let the ash go out the window and then when they are done they just throw the cigar out. By doing this the cigar is still lit and could cause fires to happen. Schools are also another area where littering is a problem, many students believe that they can just leave their trash because janitors will pick it up for them but most of the time the trash attracts unwanted guests such as birds and rats, and by leaving their trash them that it is fine to litter and someone will pick it up for them always. So once again many people do not treat littering as a crime and millions of people do it and by littering could hurt animals that live near the place being littered and could start
