Before I give Fregean analysis to given sentences, there are a few terms that I have to clarify in the concept, which are 'name', 'sense', 'Bedeutung', and 'idea'. According to Frege, 'names' are lingual expressions that designate certain objects or concepts in the real word. Frege calls these objects or concepts 'Bedeutung', which means 'reference' in german. For example, Leonardo Dicaprio is a 'name', a lingual expression. The actual Leonardo Dicaprio himself, the man which the name Leonardo Dicaprio refers to, is a 'Bedeutung'.
In the designation process, name uses 'sense', to refer itself to Bedeutung. Sense is a 'definite description' of a Bedeutung, and it works as a bridge as you associate Bedeutung with its name. Using Leonardo Dicaprio as an example again, as you hear the name 'Leonardo Dicaprio', you instantly think of a sense that relates Leonardo Dicaprio(name) with Leonardo Dicaprio(Bedeutung), such as 'The blond guy who acted as Jack in the film Titanic'. As there are many ways to describe Leonardo Dicaprio without referring to the film Titanic, we can infer that there can be many senses to describe a certain Bedeutung.

And these senses are not 'ideas', because ideas are formed in mind and naturally subjective. A certain idea experienced by me cannot be experienced by you in an identical way that I experienced it, no matter how delicately I explain the idea to you. However, senses can be shared by people because there are no possible ways to interpret or experience a 'definite description', such as 'the blond guy who acted as Jack in the film Titanic' in any other way than other people sharing the sense with you. In Fregean analysis, sentences are considered as names too, which refers to 'truth value' as their Bedeutung. In this case, 'thought', which is a constitution of senses of individual names in the sentence, works as a sense of the sentence.

Name Entity (NE) is an expression that refers to proper names such as persons, locations, and organizations. For example: Arafat Awajan is a full professor at Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan, then Arafat Awajan, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, and Jordan would be identified as reference to person, an organization, and location, respectively. The task that attempts to locate, extract, and automatically classify named entities into predefined classes or types in open-domain and unstructured texts, such as newspaper articles, was called Name Entity Recognition (NER)[Shaalan 2014].…

A name in its simplest form addresses a person, place, thing, or idea, yet with every name comes a flood of associated names and ideas. For Dana and her mother the use of choice words with the least amount of negative connotation seems to be of the utmost importance. She states “It matters what you call things” (5), but the name by which one identify with, or that one uses to address an activity or idea, matters for the most part only to the said person. Those viewing one's life, as the reader does with Dana, form their own ideas and interpretations of that person and his or her activities. Therefore a name matters because it expresses how one feels about their…

Summary: In this text it’s pretty much introducing to all the topics and examples of the ways names are so important in our world today. He firstly describes how in past decades they always had a nickname like the 70s, 80s and 90s. But for the twenty first century years 2000 to 2009 has never received a nickname. He states how this is quite unfortunate and crazy because in the start of this 21st century we’ve had a lot accomplishment and devastating failures. Then in one of the same topics Patrick Olsen writes a text on “Does Your Pickup Truck Have a Nickname?” He states that people have a big love and enjoyment for inanimate things such as people who own trucks. He gives statistics and provides a survey…

One’s power and position in a society can give them the “right” or ability to name or un-name a person. Someone can gain this right by his or her status socially, financially, and even racially. If it’s their own child, of course, they have every right in the world to name him or her. But in some cultures, as is evident in “No Name Woman”, they have the right to take away someone’s name if they have disgraced their family and/or community. A name is very significant because it gives a person a sense of who they are, an identity. In “No Name Woman”, Kingston’s aunt had no identity except for the story her mother told her and in “Mary” Marguerite’s new boss, Mrs. Cullinan changed her name to Mary which then, in a way, removed Marguerite’s original identity and gave her a new one, one she didn’t want.…

To start with, using our senses many possibilities for knowledge are openedto us. Our senses have some limitations that prevent us from our knowledge. But what is knowledge? Generally, knowledge is a term that a lot of people accept when they want to say that they know something. More specifically, knowledge for meis when I can not only know something, but when I can understand something. Knowledge is when I can answer the question "why?" or "so what?". Also, I can understand the word "knowledge" as a way how I perceive the world around me. My senses help me to have "knowledge". But what are "senses"?. Every person has almost five senses. These are touching, hearing, smelling, sight and tasting. But there are many people who support the opinion that they have the sixth sense. This sense is about having some views or dreams. Many other people believe that this sense does not exist. Unfortunately, there are some people who are blind or deaf. That means that they don 't have a sense of all these five. Using the word "sense" I mean the ability that people have to understand and perceive the world around them.…
