French Revolution Vs Russian Revolution
The french revolution and Russian Revolution are the same yet different in many ways. The are the same because they have separate groups, However they are different because they both occurred in a different time period and in different locations. The french revolution occurred in ___________. The russian revolution occurred in russia.
The first difference between the 2 estates is that their social life was very different. The french had 3 estates where as the russian only had 2 groups The church in france had a good bit of power whereas the church did not exist in russia. Finally the french had a middle class whereas russia only had 2 class and no middle class.
The second difference between the 2 estates is their political life. The french
had 3 estates. The first estate didn’t control the government but were best friends with the king. The second estate had a good amount of power within the social and political areas of the country but they didn't really didn’t have a lot of power. Finally there was the third estate. The third estate was the majority of the population but had very little say in everything. In russia it was somewhat the same but then it was different. In russia the tsar had absolute control over everything. Also he wanted to keep the nobles happy and not the serfs. Finally the french revolution had little or no effect on russia.
The final difference between the french and russia is their economic differences. In france the first estate had some people that were poor but the church was extremely wealthy. The church did not have to pay any taxes. The second class did not have that much money but they go the title of “Upper class”, The second class did not have to pay taxes to the king. The third class had to pay all the taxes and the majority of the people in the third estate could not pay the taxes. In russia sufs were basically like slaves. They were forced to do whatever their landowners directed them to do. The landowners collected a very high percentage of the sufs income whether food or money. Russian economy was very backwards. Instead of producing things like factory things they were producing food. Though these 2 groups are very different they are the same in many ways. First the poorest class had to pay the majority of the taxes. Also the lower class had to pay the majority of the the taxes.
