THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
A. Background of the study Frequent computer usage is the excessive use of computers to the extent that it interferes with daily life. Excessive use may explain problems in social interaction, mood, personality, work ethic, relationships, thought processes, or sleep deprivation. The researchers wanted to know the effects of frequent computer usage in the academic performance of the respondents. They wanted to know whether their poor grade is due to frequent computer usage or not.
