The lesson plan title is Frog and Toad Are Friends Reading Lesson. The students will read Frog and Toad Are Friends, Chapter 1 called spring. Then discuss the different seasons and animals during each season and why hibernation is needed for certain animals.

When given the book Frog and Toad Are Friends, Chapter 1: Spring to read, the students will be able to summarize and identify why hibernation with different seasons and animals are essential to have with the 7 questions they will have to answer with the quiz I will be assigning them.

How I would use this lesson with a science class is that I would teach all my students the study of the seasons and why the weather changes. I will also teach them about different animals during each season and what their learning environments are like.
