Welp, there I was. Mom always said my head looked like a bowl of ramen noodles, but I never believed her. I was born in Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa August 10th 2000 at 2:43am after 22 hours of labor. Mama had to get an emergency C-section. My mother and grandfather choose the name Jayden. My mom wanted the name “Noah”, but my papa said no way. The name Jayden means “god has heard” in Hebrew. Papa really liked it. For the first 3 weeks of my life I lived with my grandparents. I then moved into an apartment for about 2 months, but mom said the apartment smelled like cat pee so we got outta there pretty quick. It was then I moved into my childhood home. A little green house on a quiet road in the North End. The house I would spend 8 years of my life in. I remember it has an fashioned clothes hanger out back that I used to pretend was a zipline, and slide around till my arms were sore. The raggedy place wasn't a site for sore eyes, but it was my new school. Though school is supposed to be a time of meeting new people and building bonds, it wasn't really like that for me. I didn't have much for acquaintances. I went to school and I went home. That was about it. I used to be a pretty quiet kid. At home after school I would be so bored I would climb to the top of my garage and jump off. It was fun after a while, until my grandma saw exactly what I was doing. I got a stern talking to, yet after that it only took me about five more minutes to do the same thing. My energy was through the roof at home. Not even close to what it was at school. It raised a lot of questions. My activity grades weren't the best, I was encouraged to be apart of school more and more each day. If only they could know what they
