The future technology that our group decided on was The Safety Seat belt . This high tech seat belt is a very interesting product, it has many benefits and only some disadvantages. This seatbelt is guaranteed safety for everyone who uses it properly.
This product consists of dri fit material with a microfiber coating with titanium weave in the torso area. It automatically adjusts to your width and height providing comfort and safety. It has a magnetic clip that is made within the chair which makes it relaxing it also automatically retracts so you won't be bothered by that commonly annoying clicking noise. This design is made very carefully ensuring this product will not tear, break or rip!
We only use the best of materials such as the “dri fit material” which is mostly used in athletic shirts. This material has polyamide polymers they are a special crystalline substance that enables water (sweat) to penetrate the interior surface. One example is
Nike they use this specially designed material to prevent roughness/itchiness or irritation to the skin from sweat. It uses high performance to navigate the sweat away from your body and towards the surface of the fabric to make it as comfortable as ever.
We also use microfiber which is mostly used in dish towels/rags. I know you are probably asking “Why this material? or Dish rags, seriously!? This fiber is especially important because it absorbs sweat like the dri fit material but it adds a more comfy feel to it. This fabric is also “cuddlier” than most normally used fabrics in seat belts or in any other used car products.

The last but not least used product is the titanium weave which is a very structured material. This very important part of the belt is water and humidity resistant, which commonly happens when you leave the window open on a humid/rainy day. This product is a very durable material that lasts for years and years.

Car accidents are the leading cause of death and injury in the United States of both adults and children. Seat belts were invented for the purpose to help reduce death and injuries. An airbag is not as effective if it was not for a seat belt. “In the United States, a mandatory seat belt law was first enacted in New York in 1984. Lund et al. [6] found a nine percent decline in traffic fatalities in the first nine months when New York enacted mandatory seat belt law.” (Dissanayake 32) There are two types of mandatory laws, Primary Seat Belt Law and Secondary Seat Belt Law. Depending on the child’s age and weight determines how they should be buckled in. “The lifetime medical cost of crash injuries was estimated to be $18.4 billion: $7.7 billion for treated and released patients and $10.7 for hospitalized patients.” (Bergen 895)…

Every year thousands of Americans, if not hundreds of thousands, are seriously injured or killed due to the lack of seat belt usage. Some states in the United States have a law that requires only the driver to wear a seat belt, and some require only passengers of a certain age to wear one. Wearing a seat belt should not be considered just an age issue, it should be considered important for all people inside a vehicle to wear one. The states that are the smartest are definitely the ones that require everyone to wear one, regardless of their age or their placement inside the vehicle. The United States as a whole, not just states individually, should pass a law mandating all people inside a motor vehicle to wear a seatbelt.…
