Go Fish is a poker card game and popular in Europe.
Player:
It is usually played by 2 to 5 players, although it is able to be played at most 10 players.
Objectives and outcome:
The objective is to collect the book sets as soon and many as possible. The book set means all patterns of card in same rank. In other words, a book set should have 4 cards with same number and different patterns. For the player who gets most of book set will be the winner.
Procedures:
Five cards from a standard 52-card are distributed to each player, or seven cards if there are four or fewer players. The remaining cards are shared between the players, usually spread out in a disorderly pile referred to as the "ocean" or "pool". To start the game, Player (A) will ask the next player (B) for his or her cards of a particular rank. Player A must have at least one card of the rank Player A requested. Player B must hand over all cards of that rank if possible. If Player B has none, Player A is told to "go fish," and Player A draws a card from the pool and places it in her own hand. Then it is the next player's turn, unless it is the card being asked for, in which case it is shown to the other players, and she gets another turn. When any player at any time has all four cards of one rank, it forms a book set, and the cards must be placed face up in front of that player. When all sets of cards have been laid down, the game ends
