On January 30 1933, millions of people didn’t know their lives were going to change when they chose Adolf Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. Hitler Had a better “vision” for a good German, he thought white skin tone, blue eyes, blonde hair people were “the perfect German” , If you didn’t fit into that description you were eliminated Hitler had many ways to torture and kill people but one main thing he used were gas chambers in the concentration camps. Hit Gas chambers were used in the Holocaust to kill many people. 1.1 million people were killed which is 90% of Jews were killed during the process of the gas chambers. die were, the elderly, babies, young children, etc. During the Gas chambers people wouldn’t freak out cause they thought they were taking showers “to get clean from bugs and dirt.” Many had died even before the Gas chambers had started because they were out of oxygen in a small room covered and only had one small hole on the top, in order to bring in all the gas. The gasses that were commonly used for the gas chambers was Zyklon B, it was very poisonous which was a type of poisonous that was used to kill rats and insects.
The largest gas chamber of all concentration camps was Auschwitz birkenau, Auschwitz was one of the biggest extermination camps, that used gas chambers, the gas chamber was one of the largest rooms in the concentration camps.

The Nazis assemble another 5 concentration camps with gas chambers including Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and Majdanek. Victims who were affected by Chelmno were killed in gas vans instead of gas chambers, Gas chambers were vans sealed with engines that exhaust the gas from the engine to the people in the van. Gas vans were specifically made for the people of “unworthy of life” most of those kind of people were, people that had a disability such as mental illness or a physical disability.
Hundreds of concentration camps and included gas vans that many only used Zyklon B. Thousands of lives were lost during the holocaust and gas chambers are one of the reasons. Gas chambers were used for thousands of reasons, gas chambers killed way quicker and was a much faster process for those who died.
