“Life is beautiful and yet life is not a bed of roses”. “Though it is full of ups and downs it has many facets of blessings and successes”. Here I had taken some volition, but an interesting fact is why people think like this, do every one strike upon about the same thought? We can see the whole universe with our mind, but the way we look at it is difference. Because people are different, their thoughts, their behavior and their attitudes, they all are different from each other.
Society is made out of men and women, the basic parts of a society. Literally their behaviors have so many differences. We all know that gender barrier is a way of determining social status and rights and responsibilities. Gender plays a variety of roles depending on the culture, class, tradition. As far as I understood in my country (Sri Lanka) the male gender got a relative advantage in every aspect of life, as they are profound to be the people having the upper hand grasping the things which affect our lives. Here in United States gender plays a major role in creating social equilibrium. The different types of gender roles are clearly visible among American society. It may have something to do with male and female both parties having equal opportunities when it comes to achieving things.
From day one, starting with their initial noisy entrance into this world, babies are viewed according to their gender; even color coding them right away. Oh, it's a girl! God forbid if this child ends up wearing blue - she may have a social identity crisis. With their clothes, toys and even rooms decorated accordingly, it would be impossible to remain undetected by this variety of social types which we face in our daily life styles.
I would like to explain what kind of gender behaviors I encountered or more like observed around a period of about 3 hours at SEMO University Center on a regular Friday. First of all I would like to mention that there is so much racial division
