Gender Inequality In America Essay

I strongly agree with one of the states Opera stated. She stated that a girl born in the United States is the luckiest. Yes, as women we constantly complain that there is a difference in salary between men and women etc. However, if we compare all the privileges that we have in America we are immensely lucky because other women in all parts of the world don’t have all the rights and privileges we do. Another thing that also caught my attention was the child labors. In all honesty, it’s a little sad that as Americans we know that the products we buy are being produced in third world countries. We also know that in some instances children are the ones producing the products we buy. Its sad that we know this is taking place yet we let it take place. However if this were taking place in our own country
Its lack of education that leads these men to commit heinous crimes against children. Unfortunately, the cure to HIV has not been found and until it is found these sex crimes will not stop. However, if people in Africa received the education they need they would be more knowledgeable about HIV. As for families who are in despite need of money I find it baffling that they would find the need to prostitute their children. When children prostitute themselves not only will it emotionally impact them for the rest of their lives but they are also at risk of getting infected with a disease. i find it very sad that the young boy who is being prostitute by his dad doesn’t see what he is doing morally wrong. He literally thinks it’s like having a normal job. It’s also sad that the mother is oblivious to what is going on in her house. I don’t see how she doesn’t question where her husband and son are getting money. All in all, each and every story we saw was very sad and it someone aggravating that these child victims can’t be
