Gender Stereotypes In College
The two main stereotypes that I brought with me to college is that most people here would be nerds and guys. Neither of these stereotypes are bad to me, they are are just what I thought would be the main group of people here. Both of these stereotypes have been reinforced for the most part. Since I live in a women’s hall, there are a higher ratio of girls on our floor to boys compared to the rest of campus,so that is a little backwards. There are a lot of nerds or socially awkward people, but I have found some not so nerdy people to hang out with. I would agree that everyone here is somewhat nerdy, and at a focused exploration one of the professors presenting confirmed this by telling us we were all nerds. It is pretty easy to see and know
