Overview of German Circumstances after World War I Germany 's problems and hatred after World War I may have been what sparked it 's beginnings in World War I. When the German people felt hopeless after their loss in World War I, they felt they needed a new strong leader. When Hitler came to power in Germany he established a following that would later lead him to rule most of Europe in the early 1930 's. “ All great movements are popular movements. They are the volcanic eruptions of human passions and emotions, stirred into activity by the ruthless Goddess of Distress or by the torch of the spoken word cast into the midst of the people.” (Hitler) These followers were known as Nazi 's. …show more content…
They did not want to die under Hitler 's rule, so they killed mercilessly for him. This shows how the German people had no dignity in what they were doing. They were out to conquer the world and did not think about the consequences. One should never sacrifice your own dignity to satisfy someone else 's needs, even in one 's own country 's. The horrors of World War II is partly related to the Bible story of the Egyptians taking control of the Hebrews and the Ten Plagues. The Hebrews were helpless and no one was physically their to help them because nobody knew about it, so God himself helped save the Hebrews with his own army known as the Ten Plagues. This was very closely related to the Jews in Europe in the concentration camp. Nobody knew what the Germans were doing to them so
