Gilgamesh Qualities
One ideal attribute for a leader that seemed necessary in the two stories was courage or bravery. In the story "Epic of Gilgamesh," Gilgamesh didn't really seem like a great leader to me or was really leading anyone. He was always doing his own thing on a adventure. But he did seem brave to me he never feared anything in the story, not even when he killed the guardian. Now a days being a leader means much more then just bravery. There's being kind, thoughtful, not being selfish and much more. Many traits Gilgamesh did not possess instead of people relying on him they feared him. In the other story "Enuma Elish," Marduk became leader or king of the gods by helping the gods by being brave by proving himself leader and over coming the challenge.
