The way the title and the picture coheres by creating a person behind the reasoning helps the audience see who and what their money will be going to. In the title the use of interrogatives as well as imperatives help to make the audience feel they should be giving their money because it's the right thing to do. This together helps persuade the audience to give money to the charity.
The third mode the text presents is delayed which is supported by the context of the article. The article is in a magazine so there is no immediate response . The way you know it's in a magazine is because they say in the title to "have a look at page 14." Another way you could tell it's delayed is If you were to sponsor a room you would have to "return the form below."
There's also use of graphology for example, the way the picture of Sophie is to the side helps draw attention to her after every paragraph you read . Also the font of the title gets smaller however it still repeated the same question. Throughout the text the font gets smaller from title up till the end until the contact information is in a bigger and bold font. This is directing the audience straight to the sponsoring , the company's name , and the slogan. The way the main information is in circles help summarise the article for people who are not as literate as others and helps draw the audience
