My experiment about going against a social norm was going shoeless at a local Country Store. I drove my car to the little store down the road where I remove my shoes in my car and I left them there. When I open the door and I stepped out of my car my feet touched a cold wet pavement. I walked hurriedly to the front of the store. I was nervous, as I walked towards the store. I reached the doors and opened them. As I was about to step inside the woman behind the counter looked at me and stated I could not enter the store without any shoes on.
