Abstract
The purpose of this report is to provide an analysis of the compensation plan used by Gold’s Gym, an international fitness center. We start with an introduction of the company’s description, history and values. Then, we provide an evaluation of various job positions within the company and their respective job descriptions and specifications. Moreover, we use the point method of analysis to conduct a job evaluation for each position. Furthermore, we create an internally fair job structure, conduct a market salary survey for benchmark jobs, draw a market pay level line, decide the pay level policies, draw a pay level policy line, construct a pay grade, and finally establish a structure that is internally equitable and externally competitive.
