We have all had our feelings about the story “Goldilocks”.
In every variation of it she not very smart. She very reckless and careless. She wonders through the woods and find a bear’s home. She walks into the bear’s home. Her first mental error is breaking and entering which is not very smart. She goes through the house trying and testing out all the bears stuff. Mentally she wants everything to perfect. She tests out all the bears chairs, oatmeal, and beds. She careless breaks all the stuff she tries. Then, she falls asleep in the bear’s house. Mentally if you are in someone else’s house you should think don’t sleep or even come in without permission. It is very clear that Goldilocks had no respect for the bears personal items. Also, that she has no home
training.
Goldilocks and Red may have some things in common. They are both in the woods they have a sense of adventure. They are both females. They are both talking to animals. Both could have dealt with the situation better. They do also have many thing that differ. Red is in the woods to get a job done. Goldilocks is in the woods to wonder around and put her nose where it doesn’t belong. Red was thinking her actions through. Goldilocks wasn’t really thinking at all.
In closing, Goldilocks and Red have similarities and differences. Goldilocks may not be as clever as Red but, she knows how to get out of a situation. Red knew how to outsmart the wolf. They both made mental mistakes and careless actions. They have ways of standing out but the stories “Goldilocks” and “Little Red Riding Hood” are quite similar.
