-Monounsaturated fat is a type of good fats. This fat can be found in most oils such as olive, canola, and peanut oils. It is also found in avocados and nuts.
-Polyunsaturated fats are another type of good fats. Polyunsaturated fats can be found in other oils that are plant-based, some examples are safflower, sunflower, soybean, corn, sesame, and cottonseed oils.
-In polyunsaturated fats there are omega-3 which is a fatty acid that helps your cells function, this fat is very important to your body. Omega-3 can be found in the same things as polyunsaturated fats because omega-3 is in it but it can also be found in salmon or tuna and much other fish.

-Most people in the world are told that fat, in general, is bad but actually there is a specific group of fats that are bad.
-Saturated and trans fats can be very harmful to your heart both of these fats are solid at room temperature. Some example together is butter, margarine, shortening, and beef or pork fat.
-Saturated fats: It is most animal-based, which can be found in high-fat meats and dairy products.
Some examples of foods these fats are in are, dark chicken meat, fatty cuts of meat(beef, pork, lamb), most high-fat dairy foods (whole milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, ice cream, cream cheese), tropical oils, and lard.
-Trans Fats meaning trans fatty acids: In most foods that contain hydrogenated vegetable oils. Some examples of foods these fats are in are, fried foods, margarine, baked goods, processed snacks, and vegetable shortening.
