“Gore” Short story analysis

4. Amy- Is a major character because she is telling the story and most of the story is about her. The term major character means; a character that plays an important part of the story, someone who is part of the plot. When she is explaining her knocking over things and having the silence is her being major. She’s a round character because you get to see all sides of her. Round is a character in fiction whose personality, background, motives, and other features are fully defined by the author. Mostly when you see her acting skills and her hatred towards her brother. Finally she is a developing character because you can see her change through out the whole story. Developing character is when you see the character fully but the author is still defining them. Particularly when she was running into the bathroom, everyone thought that she was just going wait for Lucas to actually take more than two steps and see her.

Lucas- He is a major character because he’s the one that created the conflict. The term major character means; a character that plays an important part of the story, someone who is part of the plot. He created the conflict by stealing his sister’s book and not giving it back. He is a round character because you see the scared and brother like side of him. Round is a character in fiction whose personality, background, motives, and other features are fully defined by the author. When you realize he is a scared. He is a developing character because you see him change his moods about the situation. Developing character is when you see the character fully but the author is still defining them. When you see how was being the mean typical brother and stealing his sister’s book and then how he was truly scared when Amy was acting.
