Hercules was born after Zeus had an affair with a mortal woman named Alcmene. When Hercules was a child, Hera sent two snakes into his room, but he grabbed the snakes by the head and killed them. In his labors he defeated the Hydra, the man killing Stymphalian Birds, and the Nemean Lion. In all of those labors Hercules showed a tremendous amount of bravery.
Being adventurous was one of the qualities of Hercules. “The Labors of Hercules” narrate how the most famous Greek character complete twelve colosal tasks at an early age. He was committed to complete these tasks by because he killed his family while under a spell from Hera. Throughout his labors, Hercules defeats each of the creatures he has to confront. Fortunately for Hercules, his personality helped him with the various adventures that he was destined to face.
