Greeks myths described the origins of the gods and their personal relation with mankind. There were twelve principal divinities in the Greek pantheons known as; Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes and Dionysus. Each of these gods displayed a different trait for the Greeks to follow. The Greeks worshipped in sanctuaries per the deity, either they worshipped in the city or in the countryside. Egyptians have a combination of religious beliefs and practices which include magic, medicine, spiritualism, and psychiatry. Egyptians much like Christians believe in a higher power and life after death. Because Egyptians believed in life after death, they carried themselves in a manner that they felt would give them a life worthy of continuance. Their religion was greatly influenced by Pharaoh who was known to have an immense amount of power over the Egyptians. Indians worshipped many gods who believed in the manifestation of God. The three main deities are Vishnu who was the preserver, Brahma who was the creator, and Shiva who was considered the destroyer. This is my Hinduism is thought to be polytheistic, but it really is not. These are two that came to my mind about myths of the Holy Bible. The Bible consist of 66 books written by more than 40 authors. When you become saved, and if you sin you should repent and ask God for forgiveness. A few myths about the Qur’an that I remember hearing are, Muslims do not other religions, or their faith and beliefs, Muslims do not believe in Jesus, they do not believe that Jesus will return to earth one day. These are a few myths I have spoken about with my friend is Muslim. I was told that Muslims respect the freedom of religion, and they are taught to preach tolerance towards non-believers and non-Muslims. Muslims believe that Jesus was born to the virgin Mary, but was never claimed to be the son of God. Muslims also believe that Jesus will come back to earth in the last
