ABSTRACT
There are many things in this world that are ever evolving in technology, from vehicles, television, cell phones, and even green technology. Some of us might not be too familiar with green; however, most people use green technology without even knowing the difference. The following will address questions concerning green technology. 1. What is green technology? 2. What advantages and disadvantages does green technology have? 3. What are the important focuses of green technology? 4. How can Green technology can be profitable? 5. What are the important facts about green technology?

6. What is the future of going green?

This is a review of green technology which focuses on these six questions. What is green technology? According to the articleshub.org (2009) the term "technology" refers to the application of knowledge for practical purposes the field of "green technology" encompasses a continuously evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products.
What advantages and disadvantages does green technology have?
The advantage of using green energy sources is that it is clean so it does not emit anything harmful into the air which has an impact on the environment. It is also renewable which means we will never run out of it unlike oil which is expected to dry up in a decade or so. (Elise, M., 2010)
Disadvantage of green energy source is the amount of produce electricity, how much it can generate is not consistent. This is because we have no control of the weather so if a certain area relies on solar energy and there is a weather disturbance, it will not be able to convert sunlight into electricity. Another disadvantage is the fact that some of the green energy sources cannot be installed in certain areas of the planet. For instance,

alternative energy source. It is what we know of as standard solar energy where there is a collector that captures that sunlight to heat the air and water and can also generate electricity. Another form of alternative energy is wind energy. An advantage to using alternative energy sources is that they are renewable. A disadvantage of alternative energy sources is that they can be inconsistent, as is the case especially with wind energy. Discuss how they work, how they compare with fossil fuels, and their relative advantages and disadvantages. A major advantage of fossil fuels is their…

I believe that it is better to die for what you believe rather than to lie to save your own life. Many people have died for their beliefs. There are martyrs from all over the world, and they were not afraid to stand up for what they believed in, even if it meant losing their lives. Those people have gone down in history, and are respected by many. Joan of Arc was burned at the stake at the age of 19 for believing that her visions were from God. The English leaders tried to force her to deny that God had spoken to her, but she refused. She went down in history as a great martyr and she is still today and perfect example of standing up for what you believe in. Another great martyr…

Cons: 1) Passive solar heating may only be seen as an effective use of power if the climate is able to provide enough sunlight. 2) Active solar heating plans are expensive and in most areas, an active solar system will be unable to capture enough sunlight to replace the heating and electrical systems in a house. 3) Wind power can be a failed energy source, for wind is inconsistent, unsteady and unpredictable. 4) Biomass fuel is costly to produce and needs a substructure of fossil fuel for production and use. It can result in habitat loss, deforestation, and harmful air pollution. 5) Hydroelectric energy is directly related to how much water is available, thus potentially causing a drought. They also relate to interventions in nature due to damming of water, changed water flow and the construction of roads and power lines. 6) Geothermal power is also expensive to obtain and must be managed carefully so that it is not depleted.…

The fim’s plot is about a family of Mohican Indians who are on the side of the British colonists, fighting against the French. The Mohican Indians are Chingachgook, who is the father, and his two sons, Uncas and half-white son Hawkeye. There is also a British army major with two daughters, Cora and Alice, involved. They are with the Mohicans. Cora and Hawkeye start to spend more time together, and end up falling in love. This is against the views of many of the colonists and Mohicans, because it is an interracial couple, which was not common back then. The Mohicans and British are fighting against the French and other Indians in the French Indian War. At one point the girls are kidnapped by the Hurons and French and it is not spoken of what…

Energy is an important part of our everyday lives. Energy can come in many different types, and forms it can be used for many different purposes. Energy has many different usages and can be converted from one form of usage to another form of usage depending on what the need is. One form of energy conversion is the use of food to supply people 's bodies with energy. Another form of energy is how coal is converted into electricity. Fuel is another form of energy that can be used for many different usages as well. Fuel is used for much different reason such as allowing our cars to function and our lawnmowers to cut grass. There are many different reasons why people use energy in the many different ways that we use it. Even though people rely on energy usage, some of the forms of energy we use are very harmful to the environment and even dangerous to ourselves. The harmful and dangerous fuels that we use can be changed to alternative methods of energy usage. There are two different types of alternative energy, which is known as renewable energy. Renewable energy is very resourceful and is able to be used because it is all around us there will not be a shortage of material and it is safer on every living thing and being. Energy and fuel usage just like everything else in the world has its advantages and disadvantages about using it. We must collectivity figure out which source of energy is right for everyone but for now we will find out which is best to use in your area.…

What is Renewable Energy? Renewable energy means it comes from a source that's constantly renewed. For instance, the wind keeps blowing, the sun keeps shining, and the Earth keeps heating underground rocks. This energy will be around for as long as the Earth is, so we don't have to worry about running out of it. Solar and wind power is leading the way as the fastest growing technologies among countries committed to reducing the carbon footprint to the Earth’s environment. The more other countries commit to renewable energy, the more it directly contributes in driving the costs down. The cost of fossil fuel is cheap compared to the higher initial investment required with the alternative energy. Renewable energy advantages include: they do not cause green house gases, they improve. The air we breathe, they make domestic electricity, they diversify energy supply and they stimulate economy by creating jobs.…

My position on this issue was originally renewable energy is beneficial for our environment. I believed this because I thought that using the fossil fuels was ruining our environment. Burning fossil fuels emits harmful gases. The use of coal, oil, and natural gas are causing problems with the earth’s o-zone layer and has caused the green-house effect and the fossil fuel supplies are depleting. I thought that using solar powered energy, geothermal energy, hydro-powered energy, wind-powered energy, hydrogen- powered energy, and biomass energy would bring about a green environment and help to save the earth in the end. Also renewable energy does not run out, and creates little or no pollution.…

Alternate energy is renewable and environmental friendly. It is clean and emits little to no greenhouse gas compared to natural resources (www.doe.gov). People do not understand the limitations of fossil fuels. Someday they will run out but wind, water current, and the sun will not run out before fossil fuels do. There are many renewable resources available so not only one source will be over used.…
