Habitat For Humanity is a non-profit program. Founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. They build with people regardless of their race and or religion. And currently welcoming volunteers in for help. They build simple, decent, and affordable houses for low-income families. Because they believe no child or family should be living in the streets. And they also are a world-wide program they do not focus on any main place. Therefore their mission is to get as many people off the streets and into a safe home.
Homeowners are selected based on their need for housing, their ability to repay a mortgage and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat. Housing are sold through a non-profit mortgage. Therefore the family in need are helping out as much as the next person wanting to live a their own home. Also and annual income is needed when applying for a home.
Habitat For Humanity was founded in 1976. And since then have built over 600,000 houses and have also served over 3 million people around the globe. It was founded by a married couple named Miller and Linda Fuller. Headquarter is located in atlanta georgia. Habitat for humanity also accepts donations worldwide for their next housing and project fundings. A reminder this program is a non-profit. So these volunteers are doing such amazing jobs out of the kindness of their heart. just to keep innocent children and families of the streets.
Donations are accepted as a designated by donor. So if you have a donation for a special family in mind you just have to let them know. Otherwise your donation will be given to the the housing or project needed most during the construction.
A problem around the world is that many innocent people are being left out in the streets. It is not only here in the united states but world-wide.The U.S has a current problem which is most home owners and being left in debt with their
