Hae Min Lee Murder Case

When someone is murdered, it is usually easy to track the murderer. The fingerprints line up with the suspect who was murdered, specific DNA found is matched, and witnesses stories connect to make a believable murder story proved by facts. The Murder story of Hae Min Lee is quite the opposite. The entire Murder case is based off of stories told by witnesses and very little evidence. Hae Lee was Murdered by Adnan Syed because of his lack of memory, witness evidence, and the court's ruling. If Adnan Syed did not remember specific events on the day of Hae Lee’s murder, then he murdered her. Adnan’s best friend Jay, was interviewed and he told his story about how Hae was murdered in 1999. Jay was very specific in his testimony of what happened on the day of Hae’s death. He remembered specific details, from when Adnan dropped him off at school, to when he and Adnan burried Hae’s
Adnan was indeed convicted of murdering Hae by the court. Although the reason the court used to convict Adnan of murder were not the most reliable and believable, but the ruling of the court still was correct. If Adnan had truly not murdered Hae, then he would have tried to be more convincing about his testimony and come up with better evidence that he could have used to prove himself innocent. As the court proved Adnan guilty, it it believable because of evidence and logic behind the court’s decision. Overall, if one heard this story and they would not think of it as a common murder story. Although the murder story does not make as much sense as other murder stories do, evidence is still able to line up and prove Adnan guilty. Fingerprints and DNA were not easily found, making it easy to believe that Adnan did not want anyone to know that he was the true Murder. In conclusion, Adnan syed murdered Hae Lee based on the lack of evidence to prove him innocent, the court's ruling, and his lack of memory from the day Hae
