halo 4 vs Cod:Bo2
So many of my friends say that Call of Duty: Black Ops II is way better than Halo 4 because it’s more realistic than Halo. The guns are way better than Halo’s. COD is better than this. Better than that. Ya-dee-ya-dee-ya. Is that all they can say? That Call of Duty’s guns are better than Halo 4’s. On the contrary, Halo 4 is superior compared to Black Ops II because the campaign is well-written, the multiplayer is exhilarating, and the graphics are amazing. First of all, Halo 4’s campaign story is well composed and electrifying to the player. The story begins from the past events from Halo 3. In the campaign, the plot of the story cuts deep into the main characters’ minds. In this case, the main characters are Cortana, an artificial intelligence and Masterchief or John-117, a scientifically engineered super-soldier. The conflict of the story is both external and internal as John and Cortana both have to face the wrath of an ancient alien race that they’ve awoken from an ancient slumber, John is dealing with himself whether he’s a machine or a human, and Cortana is trying to control her rampancy, the part of an AI’s life where they basically think themselves to death. The events that happen in the story are dramatic, and exhilarating to watch. When you play, you just want to know what happens next in the story. The settings and scenes in the campaign are both colorful and full of life. On the other hand, Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s campaign is the same throughout all of the Call of Duty games. All there is to the plot is- kill the evil dictator or kill the villain and you’re done. Good Bye! Campaign over… That’s all there is to Call of Duty. Kill. Kill. Kill. The characters are just there so that you can play them. The characters aren’t much really. The only good thing about Black Ops II campaign is that it can be pretty intense killing all those people. It’s just nonsense killing. This is why Halo 4’s campaign is better than Black Ops’s campaign. Look at

“War…war never changes.” That is the opening line in the open world, post-nuclear game series called Fallout. The game focuses on giving players freedom to do whatever they want – from wandering the wasteland alone to joining a group against a common enemy. The series allows players to carve their own paths. The two games – Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas – both have the common theme of player freedom, but they differ in the mechanics and atmosphere of the game. The Fallout series are popular, but which one gives players the best experience? From playing Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas extensively, I've discovered that deciding which one to play is hard without knowing the differences and similarities.…

In Bissell’s argument, he cites “Fallout 3 was going to be fucking awesome” (354). Throughout his article he goes in depth about this game and visually takes you through it while you are reading. This strikes the logical appeal by persuading his readers to play Fallout 3 and stating facts about the game. He indicates that this game becomes sort of like a religion, an aspartame form. Bissell describes the game as though it’s the best game in the world that everyone needs to play with the details about the tutorial play, open world play, range of narrative variability, customization within your character, art work poured into the game, and I could go on. The tutorial play is different among other role-playing video games, as Bissell indicated. The player begins as a baby, learning how to walk. While the baby is walking, the player is actually controlling the character. Quickly the character gets older and learns about new abilities, signifying that you learn more as you get older. Bissell promulgate that the open world play, customization within your character, and the range of narrative variability gives the player much freedom. The art work that he describes sounds tremendous which makes you want to play the game even more. In shooting games, you can’t get better art work then skulls exploding into the distinct…

The book, American Sniper, by Chris Kyle is an informative story of the life of Kyle and the delimas he went through in and out of the war. Kyle was extremely effective in showing the reader what the life of a Navy SEAL was like, both what he went through while at war and the controversies he went through out of service. The authors main point of writing the novel is to show everyone a SEAL’s point of view of war, instead of the “propaganda” seen on the news. Kyle shows the main points of the book by establishing his own credibility, showing the purpose behind novel, and defining his tone toward the subject.…

The storyline in Mass Effect is extremely creative, interesting, and fairly simple to follow. It’s an adventure through the stars and planets afar, trying to save the future of all races. Playing Mass Effect is like playing a movie (Gamer Excitement 2). It has a great space-age plot that draws you in and just envelops you into the story, and by the end of it leaves you wanting more. The characters in the story are so dynamically different, whether it’s just by their erratically different personalities or even being different races. It has everything. Game Informer Magazine describes Mass Effect as “one of the greatest science fiction stories ever told” (Gamer Excitement 1). This story involves the Human race trying to prove its strength and intelligence to numerous alien races, while trying to fight off enemy aliens that are planning the annihilation of all humans. Mass Effect is placed in the year 2183, and is about Commander Shepard, a human military officer in the Alliance Navy, and his journey throughout the universe. It starts off with Shepard being tested to become a Spectre, an elite force in galactic affairs. Along his journey he runs into Saren, a Turian (an alien race) possessed by an ancient Sentient Being known only as Sovereign, who is bent on galactic domination. Shepard must collect an elite team of soldiers of many different races and specialties on the road to beating Saren. Throughout this story, the characters…
