Dear diary, I am completely depressed. I miss my father a lot. He is a legend and he will always be. He was the perfect king for Denmark. I can’t believe how hussy my mother is, for getting married to my uncle Claudius. I can’t believe that after one month from my father’s death, she got married. What’s worse is that she got married to my uncle which is technically my father’s brother. She is over my father now. She stopped talking about him and feeling sad for him. First, she kept crying for a month, but then after she got married to my uncle, she suddenly had a big smile on her face. A widow would normally stay a widow and some would maybe get married after four years from their husband’s death. But what I don't understand is that, how could they be already in love so soon after my very father’s death. Hope the lord helps me.
Dear diary, Horatio and my other friends came today to me and told me that they saw a ghost which they believe to be my father. Of course, I didn’t completely believe them. Tonight I am going to put on a play and invite the King to come watch. The play will be based on my father’s murder. They are going to act in a play, which I have written. I call the play "The Murder of Gonzago". I will try and get Claudius to admit that he killed my father. If he didn’t, he would most probably react to the play. I did this so that the play you make it look as if Claudius had killed my father, to possibly re-enact my father’s death.
