Hamlet does not bring forth the hero as a person of humble beginnings with multiple encounters with ferocious beasts and/or opponents, but sets the hero to face his own uncle. Hamlet is set to take vengeance for his once thought to be just deceased father, to murdered father. The vengeance is to be taken against the uncle of Hamlet, who murdered the father of Hamlet then following to steal the throne of his own brother and marrying the widow of his murdered brother. Hamlet discovers this through the ghost of his deceased father and is to take vengeance. Hamlet provides the additional example as to how hero in literature can portray the hero through numerous different styles, from cliche stories like a hero flying around taking down low life criminals to a medieval hero who battles multiple beasts and great opponents, to even stories which provide a hero who goes through different situations in order to succeed in a quest to find a treasure or in the case of Hamlet, to avenge one's father in order to regain the dignity of one's own
