The four fairy tales from the brothers Grimm that I read were, Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin, Rapunzel, and The Three Little Men in The Woods. All four of these fairy tales have their own importance in the world of gothic romantic literature and also carry their own importance in the Romantic literature world I also believe each one of these stories have the same theme of love conquers evil. This fairy tale was important to the Romantic movement because it showed that boasting about loved ones is not always beneficial and it also showed that love can overpower greed and evil. This because the daughter uses her intense love for her newborn child that she does that impossible and discomfits the little gremlin by saying his name. This story is important because it shows people that love can come from the strangest area in the case of the king and the man's daughter whom the king enslaved to make gold for him while also threatening her life if she didn't and later them getting married and having a child. The next story is Hansel & Gretel. This is another story that showed that a parent's love for their child is not alway present but the relationship between siblings can last a lifetime and even save lives. This is shown when Hensel saves them the first time there mother tries to abandon them and when Gretel saves them while the are held captive in the delectable house of the witch. And this story like many of the others had such an important impact that disney and other children focused companies adopted them and created them in forms that are appropriate for children.
